Muhammad Septian Alamsyah. I am from Indonesia. I am 25 years old. I received both my Bachelor degree and Master degree on 2016 and 2018 respectively from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia. My Bachelor thesis was about Lightning Protection on Electrified Railway and My Master thesis was about Distribution System Reliability Enhancement. On the second semester of my master study, I started working part time at PT. Quadran Energi Rekayasa, a Power System Consultant, as an electrical engineer. I continued to work there full time after I graduated from my master study. I did several projects on Power Plant Grid Impact Studies, designing SCADA system for a medium level electrical system, and perform a switching overvoltage study on 500 kV transmission line system for Sumatra Island (one of five biggest Island in Indonesia). I was also a Professor Assistant on Lightning Research Centre of Institut Teknologi Bandung and I also elected as the Head of High Voltage And High Current Laboratory of Institut Teknologi Bandung.
Research in the Etopia project:
I am working on determining transient radiated field from power lines by measuring the transient CM current. The research focuses on finding the method of measuring transient CM current in power system and determine the transient magnetic field emitted by it
