Denys Pokotilov was born in Mykolaiv, Ukraine, in 1994. From 2010 till 2014 he was studying in Mykolaiv College of Transport Infrastructure and obtained young specialist degree Automation and telemechanics in the railway transport. He obtained his bachelor degree Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies, specialized in Automatics and Automation on transport in 2016 and master degree Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies in 2018. Both at the Dnipro National University of Railway Transport named after Academician V. Lazaryan, Ukraine. From 2018 till 2019 was working as senior electrician on the Odessa Railway. Since September 2019 he had started as a Ph.D. on the ETOPIA project in the Telecommunication Engineering Group of the University of Twente.
Research in the Etopia project:
My researching field is connected to non-conventional modelling and measurements of EM field. Today, there are a huge number of different electronic devices. There is also a huge amount of standards that a given product must pass before entering the market. One of the important standard is to test the maximum value of electromagnetic emissions generated by the device.
