Arun Dilip Khilnani. I am originally from Mumbai, India. I had completed my bachelor’s in engineering Degree in Electrical branch from Mumbai University, India (2009) and hold a master’s degree in Electric Power Engineering from Chalmers Institute of Technology, Sweden (2018).
Prior to pursuing a master’s degree, I worked for about six years (2010-16) in – electrical design, estimations and asset verifications for industries in many verticals across India & the UK. These included oil & gas, water treatment, paints & chemicals. Till recently for about a year (2019), I was a project assistant at Chalmers working on research projects concerning HVDC converters and wind farms.
Research in the Etopia project:
I am working on power quality issues in DC microgrids due to conducted emissions and the effect of radiated emissions in communications systems due to increasing use of electronic converters
