Amr Ibrahim Madi. I’m a 30 years old Egyptian. I have received my BSc. degree in electrical and control engineering from Arab academy for science, technology and maritime transport “AASTMT” in 2013. After graduation I worked as a Teacher Assistant in AASTMT for one year and then I worked for “Asunim” as a site engineer for the installation of HV grid connected PV system. In 2017, I became a maintenance engineer for “Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Company”. In 2019, I received my master’s degree in Electrical and Control engineering from Alexandria University, Faculty of Engineering. My point of research was “Hybrid power filter based on MMC for mitigating the harmonics of high-power drives”. I have also been involved in wastewater and climate change projects with CMI and the World bank group.
Research in the Etopia project:
Research in ETOPIA project: I am working on the Interoperability of converter based (IFBT, SiC, GaN) power system devices, evaluation of the reliability of AMI in a presence of interference, recommendation of methods providing interoperability of smart grid power electronic interfaces and AMI in power systems.
